Boitshoko Family Health centre is an initiative of the family doctors in Kempton park. This centre in Tembisa around a popular Rabasotho complex was conceptualised by three family doctors ( Dr AT Lekalakala {father}, Dr MB Mabitsela {daughter}, Dr JJ Mabasa {family friend}. This family orientated health service centre with strong primary health care principles within the affordability of the community served (LSM 1 to LSM 5). Mainly cash practice and fee for service practice.
The strategic thrust proposed health centre approach can benefit patients as follows:

1. A greater focus on prevention, ensuring people stay healthier for longer;
2. Faster medical attention to conditions which could escalate, slowing their onset or reducing severity;
3. Consolidating service delivery, records and co-payments to be easier, safer and fairer for all;
4. More timely decisions, based on a best practice, seamless, one-stop approach;
5. Consolidated patient history and test results, enhancing continuity of care and population.
